Comments: Does anyone remember serving stateside with Guttorm Eriksen, 1st Class Petty Officer who trained Seabees at the Rhode Island camp? He served in 1942 and had a hardship discharge when his wife had TB. He would have been 41 years old in 1942 and he said he was nicknamed "Captain Norway" by the men, who were very fond of him. I am his daughter. Contact me at the email address given here.

Comments: Looking for anybody that was stationed at O&R or R&M Department 4th Division Boat Movement. All were EO's such as Ernie Lovelace, Jeff German, Tim St John, EOC Jack Wheeler, Don Travis, Phil Benham, Ellie Mae Rupert, John Woodard, Perry Peckham, Joe Williams, Mert Tuthill so many others that I cannot remember there names. I was in 1st Division from 8/72 til 12/73 as a seamen when I was discharged. I came back as a civilian in March 74 to ride the rigs (LCRU's) until I left in August 1980. Anybody out there give a hollar.
