Requirements for Member ship
Personnel being of the age of 18 years or older who have served or are serving under honorable conditions under the cognizance of the Bureau of Yards and Docks, or as renamed the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, United States Navy, or were attached to or are serving with or have served with Naval Construction Components or other Units under the cognizance of the afore named Bureau and/or Command.
Reserve Personnel being of the age of 18 or older, having served with or attached to, in a drill pay or non-pay status, as a member of the Ready or Standby Reserves serving as an inactive Reservist, under honorable conditions, as a member of the Naval Reserve Construction Battalion Units, under the cognizance of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (Bureau of Yards & Docks), United States Navy.
Upon termination of service with less than 20 years of service, by release and/or discharge under honorable conditions, said member shall be eligible for permanent membership in his or her Island of his/her present membership.
Personnel being of the age of 18 or older, who have served on active duty for training, and being honorably discharged or released from any branch of the United States Armed Forces and serving with or attached to, for any period of
Time as a member of the Naval Reserve Construction Battalions or Units, under the cognizance of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (Bureau of Yards & Docks), United States Navy, shall be eligible for full membership, provided said member is a member in good standing.
Proof of eligibility, verification of service, and membership requirements as specified in the preceding paragraphs A, B, C, and D, shall be the responsibility of the local Islands. Said proof shall be subject to verification and validation, upon request, by the National Headquarters.
