The following information is provided for the NSVA
Mid-Year Executive Business meeting scheduled for 16 March, 2012:
A. Mid-Year Meeting:
1. Time: 0800
2. Location: Sheraton National Hotel Arlington, 900 South
Orme Street, Arlington, VA 22204
4. Room Rates: $109.00 per night and "BE SURE TO MENTION
YOU ARE WITH THE
SEABEE VETERANS OF AMERICA" to get our special group room
rate (3-15-16, 2012).
5. Uniform of the Day: for Mid-Year meeting shall be
appropriate NSVA uniform in accordance
with the NSVA Ritual and Procedures manual, Section B,
Page B-7 (Caps, Regalia and
Uniforms), paragraph 8, Appropriate NSVA Uniform for all
Officers.
5. For the NSVA members wishing to stay over to attend the
NAVFAC Seabee Ball on 3-17-
2012 : The Ball will be held starting at 1800 at the
Crystal City Marriott Hotel. Further
information will be forthcoming as to where to get
reservations to attend the Ball if you are
interested in attending.
B. NSVAA Auxiliary request for information:
1. For all District Commanders: Please contact your State
NSVA Department Commanders if
appropriate or NSVA Island Commanders if you do not have
Departments under your
responsibility and request that they inform the NSVAA
President of all Islands that have
Auxiliary members. The NSVAA is working very hard to
account for all current members to
insure that everyone is correctly accounted for in the
Auxiliary records and also to provide
current NSVAA membership cards, news and information.
C. I would request that NSVA Webmaster Billy Milican post
the information contained in this email
on the
www.NSVA.org
website ASAP to insure all NSVA Officers are aware of the contents
contained herein.
