My Dad was a Seabee in from 1968-1970 and I was trying to track down some
of his buddies, especially a Robert J. Heckman, who served the same time
and was originally from Long Beach, CA.
My Dad was with the 21st regiment and the 6th battalion. If anyone has any
info. I'd appreciate it.

My dad Ralph L. Amodeo was head cook with the 92nd on Tinian in WW2...I
found a Bee, Fred Buhl on the 92nd web page..his dad Ken knew my dad on
Tinian..both were in the 92nd...Fred and I were chatting on the phone and
he told me he was a Bee in Viet Nam..He was at places like Dong Ha..Quang
Tri..Khe Sanh...I was there at the same time...A U.S. Marine..at places
like Dong Ha..Quang Tri...And The Siege of Khe Sanh...Small world...
