As a member of MCB-3 from 1950 when we restarted the battlion, I can't help
feel the sudden loss. With a tear in my eye and a heavy heart, and although
I never met him, he is still my brother.

I was a CM-2 and served in the Seabees from 1966 to 1969. Was in ACB-2 from
1966 til 1969 and in MCB 128 from late summer of 1969 til discharge. Would
like to hear from any of my friends that I served with. I would especially
like to hear from Chief Kippenhan (Kip) who I worked for in the MCB 128
training office in the fall of 1969. If anyone knows anything about Chief
Kip, I would like to hear from them.
