Hi, My grandpa served with the bees in WWII. His name was Robert "Bob" Clark, from Clearfield utah. He served in the south pacific. He never talked about it so I don't know much about his service. Does anyone recognize his name? or know about him. I would like to tell my childern about his service. I am an Army vet myself, and I want my kids to know about him, and his service. Any info. appreciated. Added: February 26, 2006 |

My father served as a capenter's mate in the 77th CB during WWII. Last summer, we visited the Admiral Niemitz facility in Fredricksberg, TX. My father enjoyed identifying and talking about his time spent at the various places in the South Pacific. The one thing that he found amazing was the lack of any reference to the SeaBees considering the displays. Added: February 22, 2006 |
