1st duty station was with NMCB-3(blue team)1978-1983. Spent a tour with US
Naval Facility Pacific Beach,Wa.for a few years then finished at the Naval
Facility in Adak,Ak.(Loved it)There were people killing themselves for
being sent there, and I extended to stay there. The caribou hunting and the
Halibut fishing were right down my alley!! Hello to all my Brothers out
there.

Great site! I am also trying to find out information about my Grandpa who
served as a Seabee during the Second World War. He spent time in the
Hawaiian Islands and the Philippines. He also told stories of Hong Kong and
riding in a ship during really rough seas. I would love to hear from anyone
who might have advice as to how I could find out his unit, their mission
and history or obviously any information about him personally.

I'm looking for a Larry Davis who was stationed in San Diego around
l973/1974. He was briefly married to a Teresa Hill of Oklahoma City around
that time, and she later had a son, Jeremy Davis.
Jeremy A. Davis is now 32 and I'm trying to help him locate his dad. Any
info regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
