I was with MCB 8 from 3/67 to 12/69, serving in South Vietnam. I was also
a member of Seabee Team 0811. Don't have too many Seabees in Colorado, but
I know a couple. Those were good times.

It was great to see so many from 133 in Gulfport.

We had to trip memory lane thru the rememberances and stories since the
only thing that has not changed was the three concrete wharehouses and the
old building we put locker together in. The coast is gone both new and old
with only a few rebuilds. Mostly all condo's and hotels have started up.

We had the oldest seabee and most decorated bee in attendance.

I think we had representation from all companies. If wrong I stand
corrected.

A great time was had by all.

I will have some pics shortly when they get printed and or received by me.

To X-1 at Gulfport and the CPO club a heart felt thank you and job well
done

Hello Bees,

Looking for some bees from "A" school Gulfport in '92. Also I
went to CBU 405 right from there until '94.
I'd like to see where life took them all to. Please drop me a line at the
addresss given.
Betty Foster and Robin Pelley. Where are you?

I am trying to get in touch with any former Seabees, who fought in World
War II, who may have known my grandfather, Edwin S. Bell. My grandfather
passed away on November 10, 2006 after a brief battle with prostate cancer.
My grandfather was very proud of his service with the Seabees and I was
hoping someone who may have served with him might see this. He spent his
service time primarily in Hawaii and the Phillippines, and he was a cook
with the Seabees. If anyone has any information, stories, pictures, or
anything else that may relate to my grandfather my family would greatly
appreciate it. I can be contacted at Shaner97@aol.com. Thanks

For those of you who were in Korea, a very good feature in today's
Wilmington paper about an ex-GI who's trying to save one unit's memories of
that war. You can see it at
