I just completed my tour with NMCB-1 been in for 8 years I love the BEES
and the history of them. My grandfather recently passed away and he served
with the SEABEES when they first organized he was in Alaska during the war,
his name was James Donald Reid and hw was from New York, any info on what
battalion he was with would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and God Bless
the Bees.
